Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our private driver and transferred to a clean, quiet 3-star or higher resort/hotel in Moshi town.
All three meals are included.
Your head guide and support team will meet you at your resort/hotel approximately 30 minutes after check-in for a comprehensive briefing, gear inspection, and arrangement of any equipment rentals required.
All fees are included.

Program: Helicopter Route – 3 Days

Day 1: Machame Gate – Helicopter Pad – Barafu Camp

Elevation: 1,811 m / 5,942 ft → 4,662 m / 15,295 ft
Altitude gained: 2,851 m
After a 45-minute drive from Moshi, we travel through Machame Village to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate. While permits are being processed, you can observe the lively preparations of other climbing teams.
Once permits are approved, you will be transferred to the helicopter station for check-in and a safety briefing conducted by the pilot or aviation officer. Within approximately 30 minutes, you will be airborne.
The helicopter flight passes over Machame Camp, Shira Camp, Lava Tower, Barranco Camp, and Karanga Camp, before landing at Barafu Camp Helipad. During the flight, you will enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Mount Meru (Africa’s second-highest mountain), Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit, and Uhuru Peak.
The scenic Mount Kibo aerial tour lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour before landing at Barafu Camp Helipad. Upon landing, you will take a gentle 50-minute acclimatization hike, allowing you to experience the environment and enjoy 360-degree panoramic views—a truly exclusive “billion-dollar” setting.

Day 2 & Day 3: Barafu Camp – Summit – Mweka Gate

Ascent & Descent: 4.86 km / 3 mi | 5–7 hours
Terrain: Glaciers, snow-capped summit
(Includes an additional night for improved acclimatization and higher summit success)
Elevation: 4,662 m / 15,295 ft → 5,895 m / 19,341 ft
Altitude gained: 1,233 m
You will wake between midnight and 2:00 a.m. for the final ascent—the most challenging yet rewarding phase of the climb.
We ascend between the Rebmann and Ratzel Glaciers, following a series of steady switchbacks toward Stella Point. Here, you will enjoy a spectacular sunrise. Faster climbers may witness sunrise directly from the summit.
A final one-hour ascent leads to Uhuru Peak—often through snow.
🎉 Congratulations! People—one step at a time—you have reached Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa.
After photos and celebration, we descend back to Barafu Camp for lunch, dinner, and a celebratory supper. Guests staying overnight at Barafu Camp can enjoy stargazing under crystal-clear skies, as well as watching both sunrise and sunset from base camp, all from the comfort of a private tent.

Day 3: Mweka Gate – Moshi

After breakfast or lunch, enjoy a heartfelt farewell ceremony with your mountain crew. You will be transferred from Barafu Helipad to Mweka Gate, where you will receive your official summit certificates.
A private vehicle will meet you at Mweka Village and transfer you back to your resort/hotel in Moshi (approximately 40 minutes). Along the way, we may stop at the Mt. Kibo souvenir shop and enjoy a complimentary lunch/dinner.

Day 5: Departure Day

Our driver will transfer you from your resort/hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport three hours before your scheduled departure.
